On the other hand, the UMTS message includes the “follow on request” field to indicate
if there is pending uplink traffic that needs Iu connection after the attach procedure is completed.
This field is not needed in GPRS because the Iu interface does not exist.
The “follow on request” parameter is used in UMTS to indicate if the Iu connection
should be kept for pending uplink traffic.

也就是说：
Attach type类型中如果设置了
Follow-on request ：此IE可以取值为No follow-on request pending 或Follow-on
request pending 。当取值为No follow-on request pending 时，代表UE没有后续
的过程，CN（core network）返回ATTACH ACCEPT之后，发起释放；当取值为
Follow-on request pending 时，代表UE有后续的过程， CN返回ATTACH ACCEPT
之后，不会发起释放，等待UE的后续过程。

刚刚在学3G PS的MM 状态，突然想到这个参数了。贯通起来学，能更明白些。

那请问如果设置了这个follow on request 后，如果ms还是没有任何数据或者信令流程的话，要过多长时间rnc才会发起iu release 呢？
